It is very frustrating when a dog doesn’t respond to the come command. I hate it when he stands there just looking at me. In fact it’s even dangerous with cars running by and children playing around. At time he just wanders of, or chases a squirrel and I have no means of controlling him. I know I shouldn’t take him off leash until he obeys the command perfectly, but how will I know if that moment has arrived when I never let him off the leash?

Excessive barking can be extremely annoying. If you have a neighbor with a dog that will not stop barking, you should do something about it. Talk to your neighbor about it. Excessive barking at night can keep people up at night. And that can ruin a person’s entire day. Because of their lack of sleep, their work performance may not be up to full capacity. They will be irritable, lose focus, and sleepy all day long. If you are an owner of a dog that barks too much, take action.

As a dog owner, you have the duty to train your dog and teach him new things. A trained dog is always happy, because he knows how to make you trust him. Love alone isn’t enough for the health and well being of your pet. He needs to understand your commands and be part of a team. Your dog will be happier if you treat him as your partner. Dog training is about establishing a strong relationship between you and your pet, a relationship based on trust and not on competition.
