Electric cat litter boxes can help home owners and pet lovers save time around the home. When you have a pet litter box for your furry friend to use you will avoid the problems associated with cleaning their household messes. A litter box makes it easy to dispose of your pet’s waste easily.

When you are browsing the pet stores you will find that there are a number of pet boxes for sale that are suitable for the average house pet. There is, however, a big difference in price and features that are on offer. You will find that you can purchase a simple container for a few dollars that is suitable. One of the problems with such containers is that they require the constant purchase of kitty litter or gravel to fill it. Of course, the containers are also harder to clean requiring you to wash them and change the gravel regularly in order to avoid odours.

When you buy a low priced product you will often find that unless you store the litter box outdoors that they can have an odour that can permeate the surrounding area. If you live in a small house or an apartment the smell can be particularly unpleasant.

If you want automatic waste removal and to banish the cleaning of litter boxes then look no further than an electric cat litter box. An electric cat litter box offers these features and more to the savvy pet owner.

If you are an apartment dweller you will quickly fall in love with the electric cat litter box. You will find that quickly disposing of the recyclable bag takes no time at all and you will be happy that your pet has a constantly clean and hygenic tray

Looking to find the best deal on <noindex>electric cat litter box</noindex>, find the best advice on <noindex>Littermaid litter box </noindex>

Pet training has many advantages. It allows animals to exercise their intelligence in constructive ways, stops them from engaging in destructive behavior and keeps them under your control. Learning to perform actions or tricks on command can be fun for pets if they get plenty of affection and encouragement in the process. This is why the most successful form of training uses positive reinforcement.

Animals are naturally keen to perform actions that they know will lead to positive outcomes. Positive reinforcement means rewarding your pet for good behavior, rather than punishing him for bad behavior. The rewards most commonly used in training are enthusiastic praise and a tasty morsel of food.

Although you may not be aware of it, you have probably already trained your pet using positive reinforcement. If your dog or cat stands near a door and barks or meows, and you open the door for them, they will associate their actions with the reward of being let in or out. The next time they want you to open the door, they will repeat the same behavior in anticipation of getting the same reward.

Intentional, rather than accidental, training involves getting pets to respond on command. Envision the specific action you want the pet to perform and come up with a single word to trigger it. Cue words of one syllable such as ’stay’ or ‘come’ are less likely to confuse an animal than more complex commands.

As soon as your pet performs an action in response to a command, reward him with enthusiastic praise and a tasty treat. Always give the reward before the animal engages in any other behavior. If you are teaching a dog to obey the command ’sit’, praise and feed him while he is still in a sitting position. If he moves first, he may think he is being rewarded for standing up.

To teach an animal to get off your favorite lounge chair or any other piece of furniture, use a simple command like ‘off’. When you find your pet sitting where she shouldn’t, go get one of her treats. Stand near the chair, make sure your pet is looking at you and say ‘off’ in a loud, clear voice. Gently push or lift the animal to the floor. Immediately praise her and hold the food to her mouth. Repeat the training process every time she climbs into the chair. After a number of trials, she will jump to the floor unassisted when she hears the word ‘off’.

When an animal has learned to reliably respond to the cue word, you can gradually stop rewarding her with treats. But do persist in offering praise and affection in return for good behavior. Dogs are eager to please their owners and generally require no other motivation. Depending on their individual personalities, and the extent to which they have bonded with their owners, some cats and birds will also continue to obey commands once the food incentive is withdrawn.

Pet training can be frustrating at times. If the animal is distracted or tired, he may not perform as well as on previous occasions. Be patient and do not expect too much too soon. You should never resort to shouting or punishment. This will have negative consequences as your animal will come to fear you and be hesitant to engage in future sessions. If you make <noindex>dog training Kelowna</noindex> fun and give your pet plenty of positive feedback, he will look forward to learning new commands.

Training a puppy can be frustrating, <noindex>dog training</noindex> requires discipline and consistancy. When experiencing problems, consult a professional. Bark Busters offer a reliable and affordable service for house <noindex>puppy training</noindex>.

Are you getting a dog for your kids? Do you know that there are so much more to dogs than playing fetch, rolling over, and playing dead?

Research tells us that dogs really are man’s best friend, in more ways than one. Dogs can do wonders that humans can’t. Being with their pet dogs may help kids develop themselves.

Everyone gains something from having a pet dog. How do dogs affect kids specifically?

Can Your Dog Help Your Child’s Reading Ability?

Having doggy listeners for kids is a new method of improving reading skills. The purpose of the program was to help kids improve the reading ability with the aid of a friendly dog.

Kids are notably comfortable with the given situation. Admittedly this doesn’t work for all cases, but it’s worth a try.

Having A Dog Will Actually Lessen the Chance of Developing Allergies

The old belief that having dogs in your early childhood causes allergies is no longer supported by doctors. Kids who have been exposed to animals earlier can have fewer allergies.

How Dogs Help A Child’s Development

Canines prove to be a comfort for their masters. Research tells us that there is a positive effect from handling animals. Since a dog very interactive, kids are introduced to social activity through them.

Dogs are considered most faithful pets. Dogs can build confidence in a child to help him stand in society.

Fitness From Caring For Pets

Even kids without special needs benefit from their pet dogs.

Exercise is part of a dog’s needs. Kids with pets are generally more active than those without pets.

Choosing pets carefully can bring many advantages for your family, especially your kids. Simple as it may seem now, having a pet is actually a big part of your child’s life and will contribute to his personality.

Having a dog is a definite plus for anyone. Simple as it may seem now, having a pet is actually a big part of your child’s life and will contribute to his personality.

Dogs are one of the intelligent animals but owners should never make the mistake of expecting the pet to have right and wrong values. A dog that is allowed to jump on a master wearing old shirt and jeans will not understand why its usual way of greeting is not be appreciated by the female master wearing stockings and a deceptively simple but very expensive designer dress.

Dogs are very intelligent creatures but we owners should not assume that they have humans ability to comprehend and to separate what is right from what is wrong. A pet that usually greets its master by jumping will be puzzled if the owner suddenly raised the voice and reprimanded the dog for jumping while she is all dressed up for a party.

What disciplinary methods can you use to manage a dog’s undesirable destructive chewing and excessive barking behaviors and control its tendency to chase and torment other pets and to eat spoiled food from the trash cans? Dogs can easily read our facial expressions and understand the meaning or our body movements. Dogs are cunning little and not so little rascals that would know how to achieve an imploring look to get away from the wrath of the master. The dog may look repentant but the pet owner should not be complacent as the dog’s bad habits will surface again and again. Unless you do something to discipline the dog, the undesirable act will be repeated again. Screaming at the dog or inflicting physical punishment would never be a good idea more so if the punishment was given after the destructive deed was done. Correcting the bad habit of the dog will never be accomplished if the punishment is given after the dog has been destructive.

In a dog/human relationship, the human should always be viewed as the leader of the pack. Dogs must be trained to follow the commands of humans. Training would be an effective method of disciplining the pet. Any kind of dog training is best started when the dog is still young. Commands to discipline a dog must given in an authoritative voice.

Diversionary techniques that will result to the dog’s aversion to the destructive behavior are effective methods of disciplining the dog . A spray bottle filled with cold water and Bitter Apple are effective tools that disciplines the dog not to manifest a destructive behavior.

It would be best to reprimand and correct the dog while the destructive act is being committed. “No, Leave it, Stop are only some of the excellent commands that will stop the dog in mid act. It would take some time for the dog to understand the meaning of these commands but consistent training, lots of praise and treats are invaluable tools that will correct the dog’s unwanted behavior.

For any family that has children, Mini Schnauzers are the ideal canine companions. Fiercely protective of their human charges, these little dogs will stand up to the biggest challenges, if it means protection of their loved ones. Parents have nothing to worry about if this little dog is standing guard over their children. Size means nothing to this tough little canine.

Mini Schnauzers are extremely affectionate in nature, yet they also tend to show a stubborn streak if asked to do something they don’t want to. There are times that this temperament can cause problems, especially during training sessions. Their lovable good nature and zest for life make this easy to overlook, however. Firmness is required when dealing with a particularly stubborn mini.

The Mini is happiest living with a family that has children, because of the high energy level that comes natural to them. They love to run and play, and be involved in ‘human’ games. They love to be outside, whether it is running around, or just going for a walk. These small dogs appear to consider themselves human, and like to be treated as such.

Families that have kids fare very well with Mini Schnauzers as pets. These dogs are extremely high energy, so running and playing with the children is an ideal form of exercise, and they do need a lot of exercise! Laying by the fireside is not something they will do willingly, unless they are tuckered out from all the playtime they get. They are able to live easily in a smaller space like an apartment as long as they get outside and run each day. Be prepared to do this on a regular basis if you own one of these little canine companions.

Before purchasing a Mini Schnauzer, do a little research on the breed. There are a few things that anyone who wants one of these dogs should be aware of. The first thing is that there are certain health issues associated with the breed that may require regular veterinary care other than routine check-ups. Knowing ahead of time what can occur, and what to watch for will head off any potential problems before they become big issues.

As with most pedigreed dogs, Mini Schnauzers may have a few health problems that the new owner should be aware of. Kidney stones have often been an issue with this breed of dog, and there have been instances where liver conditions have been noted. Your veterinary will keep close watch for any problems that may arise, and it would help to have a history of any medical problems from the breeder.

There is no better family companion than this small, devoted breed of dog. With a long lifespan of up to 15 years, you can rest assured that with proper care, your little friend will be a source of joy and entertainment as well as companionship for a very long time.

Spring is a time of year when our cats can become susceptible to flea infestations, however with the milder winters, infection can occur all year round. Fleas aren’t just an irritant, they can course an allergic reaction in some cats and may transmit disease.

Fleas are prolific and in just six months 200 fleas will have become ten thousand.

To avoid it becoming a problem it is important to treat your cat, though to prevent the fleas returning, the whole house should be treated and any areas that your cat comes in contact with. There are many products available for the treatment of fleas, but what are the ones to go for?

The options available to you:

The main types of treatment available for the treatment of your cat, spot-on remedies, collars, ‘electric shock’ combs, sprays and tablets. The type of remedy you use will largely depend on your cat:

Flea collars are an easy way to treat your cat and can offer protection up to four weeks. However, not all owners are comfortable using collars on cats.

Medicines that require the owner to put drops of the medication onto the back of the neck provide a very effective treatment plus on-going protection from fleas for up to 5 weeks, although this can be tricky on some cats. You will need to make sure you get the correct type, as some are designed for dogs and others for cats.

Special combs that send out an electric shock can be used to kill fleas. However, you’ll need to be diligent with the comb and repeat the routine over a long period to make sure you get all the fleas. The combs can also ‘buzz’ when being used, this may put some cats off.

Sprays that are designed to be used on your car are an inexpensive way to combat fleas, but cats need to be over 3 months of age, the ‘hissing’ noise may also be a problem for some cats.

Oral Tablets will kill all the fleas on your pet, but it can be difficult to get your cat to swallow a pill unless your well practiced!

Whether you need a large dog harness for your working dog, or maybe something flashy for a show dog, there are many good choices. Your pet harness should be bought with it’s designed use and your dog’s breeding in mind. All dogs collars and dogs harnesses are meant to be tools, you have to discover the one that is right for your animal and its temperament. Then commit the right allotment of effort required for training your pet . But for lots of dogs, a harness can be a safe and effective training accessory.

Starting to use a harness for exercising large active dogs might seem hard to do but some newer harnesses feature basic but well designed techniques like the front-attachment fastening points. When a dog jerks, it induces a slight tightening or pressure across the chest and behind the front legs. These gentle but odd feelings cease when the dog stops jerking or struggling. When using this harness, repetition, in addition to positive reinforcement, almost all dogs promptly associate the pulling with unpleasant sensations. If your goal is to train a strong dog that pulls and lunges on a leash, seek out a training harness with a martingale-type closure that tightens when pulling and loosens up when the pulling ends and the leash relaxes.

If your dog likes to swim, or you live in a rainy, humid climate, you’ll want a more durable nylon harness. For a well-mannered dog that doesn’t get wet very often, leather is an elegant , wear resistant choice. A reflective harness and leash combination might be right if you and your dog are out after dark. After choosing your harness the harness training, like all training, requires repetition and patience. Most owners that try harness training experience very good results.

For the gentle dog that only needs a walking harness, style might be your main consideration and there are lots of designer and fancy made harnesses to choose from. Well made dog harnesses are made from leather or nylon, with each material having many years of use . Some other features to consider are: padding, spikes, buckles, Velcro, front leash attachments or top of the shoulder leash rings.

When shopping for a dog harness, make sure to take into consideration ALL the options you need. Remember, just by making the choice to use a harness, you’re taking a step in the right direction that will be insuring your dog’s health and happiness.

Stud pups are commonly found neutered if you choose to get them from a breeder. This is done for the bloodline of the purebred from being continued on without authorization. Some breeders are willing to sell them at a higher cost and with restrictions. You should contact your local breeder if you are interested in owning a stud.

As with most dogs, Yorkshire will have a nervous temperament around small children. Parents should use caution when allowing their little one to play with them. Even at seven pounds or less, they can still do significant damage with their powerful jaws.

Of course, this powerful bite can come in handy, especially since this breed is very protective kind of dogs. Stud Yorkshire will be among the more protective option and will quickly alert you if anyone is attempting to invade your home. Their bark is high pitched, and when they bark unnecessarily, some people have reported this barking as distressing.

But beyond this, they do remain the most loyal of dogs. They will quickly attach themselves to a single member of the family, and will give them considerable amounts of affection. Because they are very smart, most people will find they are easy to train, and are a popular choice for show dogs.

Yorkshire’s are notorious for being picky eaters as well. If you are considering adding one to your family, you will likely need to go through several food options before they will settle on one food they will eat. If you have multiple Yorkshire’s, you may have to buy a different brand for each one.

As with most dogs, Yorkshire tend to have behavioral problems as well. While we understand that every animal acts up, this breed can become problematic. The biggest might be constant barking, even when nothing is wrong.

While the dog is barking and having a fit, you might want to scold him. This is the common thing people do to most dogs. Stud Yorkshire will become more aggressive and continue to playfully try to take control. If left ignored, provided nothing is wrong, they will settle down and resume the quiet of the home.

Many owners overlook one vital thing about this breed. That is the fact that even a simple trip over them can mean their life. Their smaller bodies are more susceptible to getting a major fracture if a standard sized adult trips over them.

Finally, as with all smaller dogs, Yorkshire tends to be very demanding on time. They require constant affection, and will shed considerably. But if you are alright with that, then you have made a great selection. This breed is among the most affectionate of the breeds of dogs. Stud pets are also very affectionate, but you will need to be careful if you have multiple Yorkshire as they can become very territorial in cases they have one owner they are both attached to.

There is going to come a time in the life of most companies when they are going to need to make changes in the way they do business or expand in order to make higher profits. If you find yourself in this position you are going to have to present a written proposal to your investors or to the bank if you plan to apply for a loan to cover your expansion.

If you have never had to write this type of paper, you will need to find a business proposal sample to help you assemble one that will meet your needs and impress the people you are preparing it for.

A business proposal is not only used when a company needs to expand, it can be used when a company wishes to work with another in a temporary partnership or when a person or group of people wish to go into business for themselves. The proposal is the first chance and may be the only chance you are going to have to convince your financiers that your business idea is a viable one. You only get one chance to make a first impression and the proposal you write is yours. You must be prepared to take your time and get it right before you send it in.

You will find many different samples of these forms online, each of them have most likely been used with a certain degree of success. The average proposal should follow the same basic format as this is what both private investors and lending institutions are used to dealing with.

Should you send in an unfamiliar format, your proposal may never go any further than the trash can. Using the right format is as important as making sure that you do a good job filling in the information that covers your business idea and exactly how you intend to achieve your goals.

When you use a business proposal sample you will be able to create a professional document in the best format for presentation to your investors. This will make it easy to read and follow from beginning to end, which is exactly what the reader expects to find. Anything less will not be taken seriously and most certainly will not get your company the financing you need to complete the next phase of your improvement plan. This may be one of the most important documents you ever fill out and you need to take your time to make the best possible impression with it if you want your business to grow and succeed.

Ear mites are a very common problem that many pets owners will have to deal with. Though they generally cannot infect human ears, they can cause problem with our pets. It is estimated that as many as fifty percent of domestic animals have this issue. It might be worth the time for pet owners to become familiar with the problem.

These mite infestations are a common occurrence for pets, especially for cats and dogs. Essentially every mite infestation of the ears are grouped under this category, with the most common culprit being Otodectes cynotis. Many pets may have a problem but the signs of the issue may not be readily apparent.

Although cats are usually the ones who suffer from the issue, dogs and other mammals may also develop the problem. Luckily, cases of human infestation are very rare and should not be a point of concern. The parasites are usually transferred from host to host through physical contact with an infected animal.

Unfortunately, symptoms sometimes do not manifest in a way that is readily identifiable. If the infection gets bad enough, the animal will begin shaking its head, indicating that the parasites are troubling it. Inside the ears, very small mites may be seen, while a dark, waxy substance tends to be noticeable. These things indicate that the animal needs treatment.

Preventing this issue can be a bit tricky. Perhaps the most effective method is keeping animals inside and away from other animals that may pass on the parasite. It is advisable that you check the ears of your pets often for signs of the infection. This will allow you to get a jump start on treating the issue. Also advisable is keeping the ears clean with gentle, regular cleanings.

It is probably best that you speak with your local veterinarian. He or she can then give you an official diagnosis and prescribe the ideal treatment method. This process usually begins with a cleaning of the ears and the administration of medicated drops or other medications. There are over-the-counter options, however, these medicines are limited in their ability to kill off the infection. Prescription medications are more potent, and therefore probably a better option. Be sure to treat all animals in the home simultaneously to prevent further spreading.

Although it can be a troubling issue, and very aggravating one for pets, the problem of ear mites is usually not a serious one. It is very common and can typically be treated easily. However, it is a good idea that you speak with a vet. This is important to get a real diagnosis and more powerful medication that can eliminate the problem more quickly.
