When you are sure that the capsule has been swallowed, make note of what the time is.
For small and medium sized dogs, the Capstar should take effect in as little as four hours. For larger ones it may take up to six. If twenty four hours go by and you are still noticing fleas on your pet then simply re-administer the Capstar every twenty four hours until they are all dead.
Once your pet has been declared flea free, keep them gone with reputable flea prevention products. Special shampoos and flea collars will help ensure that once Capstar has eliminated the pesky critters, they stay gone.
